Números 11: ¡Cuidado con las malas influencias!

Numeros 11:1-20:
1 Aconteció que el pueblo se quejó amargamente a oídos del SEÑOR. Lo oyó el SEÑOR, y se encendió su furor; y un fuego del SEÑOR ardió contra ellos y consumió un extremo del campamento. 2 Entonces el pueblo clamó a Moisés, y Moisés oró al SEÑOR; y el fuego se extinguió. 3 Y llamó a aquel lugar Taberad, porque el fuego del SEÑOR ardió contra ellos.
4 Entonces el populacho que había entre ellos se dejó llevar por la gula. Y también los hijos de Israel volvieron a llorar diciendo: —¡Quién nos diera de comer carne! 5 Nos acordamos del pescado que comíamos gratis en Egipto, de los pepinos, los melones, los puerros, las cebollas y los ajos. 6 Pero ahora nuestro apetito se reseca, ya que no hay ante nuestros ojos más que el maná.
7 El maná era como la semilla del cilantro, y su aspecto era como el de la resina. 8 El pueblo se dispersaba para recogerlo, y lo molían en molinos de piedra o lo trituraban en morteros. Lo cocinaban en ollas y hacían de ello tortas que tenían sabor de tortas cocidas con aceite. 9 Cuando el rocío descendía de noche sobre el campamento, el maná descendía sobre él.
10 Moisés oyó al pueblo que lloraba, de familia en familia, cada una a la entrada de su tienda, y el furor del SEÑOR se encendió en gran manera. También a Moisés le pareció mal, 11 y Moisés dijo al SEÑOR:
—¿Por qué has hecho mal a tu siervo? ¿Por qué no he hallado gracia ante tus ojos, para que hayas puesto la carga de todo este pueblo sobre mí? 12 ¿Acaso concebí yo a todo este pueblo? ¿Acaso yo lo engendré, para que me digas: “Como una nodriza lleva a un bebé, llévalo en tu seno a la tierra que juré dar a sus padres”? 13 ¿De dónde he de sacar yo carne para dar de comer a todo este pueblo, que llora ante mí diciendo: “Danos carne para que comamos”?

Aquí veremos una gran lección acerca del peligro de las influencias.
En este tiempo donde existen personajes llamados "influenciadores" que por medio de la internet hacen y dicen cosas para transmitir una idea o un mensaje, sea comercial, político o cultural, ellos dedican su tiempo de forma efectiva para que sus seguidores adquieran y adopten su mensaje y lo pongan en práctica en sus vidas.

En el desierto, había un grupo de gente extranjera de otras naciones con un corazón malo, sin temor de Dios, que solo estaban entre el pueblo para aprovecharse del alimento que ellos recibían, también incitaron a todo el pueblo a quejarse delante de Dios y murmurar en contra de Moisés, su líder, comenzando una rebelión.
Ellos habían olvidado el castigo que Dios trajo anteriormente por haberse quejado porque retaron la voluntad de Dios otra vez, quejándose de la provisión de Dios, y anhelando comer carne y otros alimentos. Ellos influenciaron al pueblo a desanimarse y comenzar a desear volver a su vida pasada en Egipto.
Dios les demostró que Él sí podía concederles comer carne, pero que esto les iba a traer consecuencias negativas. Cuando Dios les envió codornices para comer, comieron tanto que les causó dolor y muchos murieron.

Espero que esta lección nos enseñe el peligro de asociarnos con personas que no comparten nuestras mismas convicciones, que son vividores, que nunca están satisfechos con lo que tienen y se mantienen quejándose, que desaniman con sus comentarios negativos, que no ejercitan su fe sino que viven lamentándose y culpando a Dios de sus miserias, que no son optimistas y no ocultan su amargura e intentan contagiar a otros con su pesimismo.
¡Aléjate de ellos! Lastimosamente podría ser algún conocido o amigo de la infancia que tu has estado intentando ayudar por mucho tiempo y ves que no quieren salir de ese pozo oscuro, y lo único que hacen es perturbar tu alma con sus comentarios, que quieren arrastrarte ahí con su forma deprimente de ver la vida, y que jamás están satisfechos y agradecidos, son personas que no aportan apoyo y crecimiento a tu vida. No creen en que Dios puede restaurar tu matrimonio o cambiar a tu hijo, piensan que Dios no puede hacer de tu hogar un lugar de bienestar y amor. Hasta les molesta tu optimismo y confianza en el Señor, ya que ellos no lo pueden hacer. De ellos debemos tener una distancia prudente porque podrían transmitirnos esa forma de pensar y de vivir hasta que nosotros comencemos, sin darnos cuenta, a ver la vida como ellos la ven.
No dejes que nadie te arrebate el gozo de la salvación que encontramos en el Señor. Asóciate con los humildes, no con arrogantes ni altivos que menosprecian la Palabra de Dios, que no quieren salir de su condición de tristeza y miseria, que no ven con los ojos de la fe y que además quieren bajarte a su nivel de incredulidad y cinismo.

Numbers 11: Beware of bad influences!

Numbers 11:1-20:
Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp. Then the people cried out to Moses, and when Moses prayed to the Lord, the fire was quenched. So he called the name of the place Taberah, because the fire of the Lord had burned among them. Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat? We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!” Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its color like the color of bdellium. The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, cooked it in pans, and made cakes of it; and its taste was like the taste of pastry prepared with oil. And when the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna fell on it. Then Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and the anger of the Lord was greatly aroused; Moses also was displeased. So Moses said to the Lord, “Why have You afflicted Your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You have laid the burden of all these people on me? Did I conceive all these people? Did I beget them, that You should say to me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a guardian carries a nursing child,’ to the land which You swore to their fathers? Where am I to get meat to give to all these people?

Here we will see a great lesson about the danger of influences.
In this time where there are characters called "influencers" who through the internet do and say things to convey an idea or a message, be it commercial, political or cultural, they dedicate their time effectively so that their followers acquire and adopt their message and put it into practice in their lives.

In the desert, there was a group of foreign people from other nations with an evil heart, without fear of God, who were only among the people to take advantage of the food they received, they also incited all the people to complain before God and murmur against Moses, their leader, starting a rebellion
They had forgotten the punishment that God brought earlier for complaining because they defied God's will again, complaining about God's provision and longing to eat meat and other foods. They influenced the people to become discouraged and begin to wish to return to their past life in Egypt.
God showed them that He could allow them to eat meat, but that this would bring negative consequences. When God sent them quail to eat, they ate so much that it caused them pain and many died.

I hope this lesson teaches us the danger of associating with people who do not share our convictions, who are freeloaders, who are never satisfied with what they have and keep complaining, who discourage us with their negative comments, who do not exercise their faith but they live lamenting and blaming God for their miseries, who are not optimistic and do not hide their bitterness and try to infect others with their pessimism.
Stay away from them! Unfortunately it could be some acquaintance or childhood friend that you have been trying to help for a long time and you see that they do not want to get out of that dark well, and all they do is disturb your soul with their comments, that they want to drag you there with their depressing way to see life, and who are never satisfied and grateful, they are people who do not bring support and growth to your life. They do not believe that God can restore your marriage or change your child, they think that God cannot make your home a place of well-being and love. They even resent your optimism and trust in the Lord, since they can't do it. We must keep a prudent distance from them because they could transmit that way of thinking and living to us until we begin, without realizing it, to see life as they see it.
Don't let anyone take away the joy of salvation that we find in the Lord. Associate with the humble, not with the arrogant or haughty ones who despise the Word of God, who do not want to leave their condition of sadness and misery, who do not see with the eyes of faith and who also want to lower you to their level of unbelief and cynicism .
