Números 7: Consagración y cuidado de las cosas sagradas.
Números 7:1-9:
Aconteció que cuando Moisés acabó de erigir el tabernáculo, lo ungió y lo consagró junto con todos sus utensilios, y asimismo ungió y consagró el altar con todos sus utensilios. Entonces los dirigentes de Israel, jefes de sus casas paternas que eran los dirigentes de las tribus y estaban al frente de los que habían sido contados, trajeron sus ofrendas delante del SEÑOR: seis carretas cubiertas y doce bueyes, una carreta por cada dos dirigentes y un buey por cada uno, y los presentaron delante del tabernáculo. Entonces el SEÑOR habló a Moisés diciendo: “Tómalo de ellos. Que sean para el servicio del tabernáculo de reunión. Entrégalos a los levitas, a cada uno de acuerdo con su trabajo”. Entonces Moisés recibió las carretas y los bueyes y los entregó a los levitas. A los hijos de Gersón dio dos carretas y cuatro bueyes, conforme a sus trabajos. A los hijos de Merari dio cuatro carretas y ocho bueyes, conforme a sus trabajos, bajo la dirección de Itamar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón. Pero a los hijos de Cohat no les dio nada, pues les correspondía el trabajo relativo a las cosas sagradas que debían llevar sobre sus hombros.

Y cuando Moisés entró en el tabernáculo de reunión para hablar con Dios, escuchó la voz que le hablaba desde encima del propiciatorio, que estaba sobre el arca del testimonio, de entre los dos querubines. Y hablaba con él.

En esta parte miramos como el pueblo tomó la iniciativa de dar una ofrenda especial a los levitas. Les dieron los carruajes para que ellos pudieran transportar el tabernáculo del Señor. Además, cuando trajeron su ofrenda de harina amasada, la trajeron en un tazón de plata en vez de uno regular. El incienso lo trajeron en un cucharón de oro. Todo esto en señal de gratitud y de dar más de lo requerido en la ley.
Esta acción de iniciativa es muy linda de parte del pueblo que valora el trabajo del sacerdote como líder espiritual que los guía en el camino de Dios .
Es importante que nosotros nos involucremos en algo para hacer más fácil la obra de Dios para nuestros líderes: el pastor, su equipo ministerial, y líderes que Dios ha puesto sobre nosotros. Algunos esperan a que los pongan en el liderazgo para tomar acción o sugerir ideas. Hoy podemos tomar la iniciativa y aportar ideas o alguna ofrenda especial para mejorar un ministerio de nuestro interés. Tal vez traer algo útil para el templo como un tablero para los niños, o sillas, o material de enseñanza. Algún equipo o instrumento que la iglesia necesita. Eso te hará sentir parte de tu iglesia y el Señor te bendecirá por ese corazón dadivoso y atento para mejorar el desarrollo de tu congregación.
Es cierto que las ofrendas y diezmos se utilizan para cubrir los gastos e inversiones del templo, pero es muy especial poder ver una necesidad y uno mismo traerla. Hasta podemos involucrar a nuestros niños pequeños y, cuando vayamos al supermercado, comprar una caja de crayones o una bolsa de chips o jugos, y decirle que esto es para su iglesia y que aportarán con su clase dominical para compartir con sus amiguitos. Así les enseñamos a ser generosos, también les inculcamos a tener cuidado con las cosas del templo de Dios.
El apóstol Pablo dijo en 2 Corintios 9:7: “Cada uno dé como propuso en su corazón, no con tristeza ni por obligación porque Dios ama al dador alegre.”

Numbers 7:1-9:
Now it came to pass, when Moses had finished setting up the tabernacle, that he anointed it and consecrated it and all its furnishings, and the altar and all its utensils; so he anointed them and consecrated them. Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of their fathers’ houses, who were the leaders of the tribes and over those who were numbered, made an offering. And they brought their offering before the Lord, six covered carts and twelve oxen, a cart for every two of the leaders, and for each one an ox; and they presented them before the tabernacle.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Accept these from them, that they may be used in doing the work of the tabernacle of meeting; and you shall give them to the Levites, to every man according to his service.” So Moses took the carts and the oxen, and gave them to the Levites. Two carts and four oxen he gave to the sons of Gershon, according to their service; and four carts and eight oxen he gave to the sons of Merari, according to their service, under the authority of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. But to the sons of Kohath he gave none, because theirs was the service of the holy things, which they carried on their shoulders.

Now when Moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him.

In this part we look at how the people took the initiative to give a special offering to the Levites. They gave them chariots so that they could transport the tabernacle of the Lord. Also, when they brought their offering of kneaded flour, they brought it in a silver bowl instead of a regular one. The incense was brought in a golden ladle. All this as a sign of gratitude and giving more than what is required by law.
This action of initiative is very beautiful on the part of the people who value the work of the priest as a spiritual leader who guides them on the path of God.
It is important that we get involved in something to make God's work easier for our leaders: the pastor, his ministerial team, and leaders that God has placed over us. Some wait to be put in leadership to take action or suggest ideas. Today we can take the initiative and contribute ideas or a special offering to improve a ministry of our interest. Maybe bring something useful to the temple like a pegboard for the kids, or chairs, or teaching aids. Some equipment or instrument that the church needs. That will make you feel part of your church and the Lord will bless you for that generous and attentive heart to improve the development of your congregation.
It is true that the offerings and tithes are used to cover the expenses and investments of the temple, but it is very special to be able to see a need and bring it yourself. We can even get our little kids involved and, when we go to the grocery store, buy a box of crayons or a bag of chips or juice, and tell them this is for their church and that they will contribute to their Sunday class to share with their little friends. Thus we teach them to be generous, we also instill in them to be careful with the things of the temple of God.
The apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 9:7: “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Now when Moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him.

In this part we look at how the people took the initiative to give a special offering to the Levites. They gave them chariots so that they could transport the tabernacle of the Lord. Also, when they brought their offering of kneaded flour, they brought it in a silver bowl instead of a regular one. The incense was brought in a golden ladle. All this as a sign of gratitude and giving more than what is required by law.
This action of initiative is very beautiful on the part of the people who value the work of the priest as a spiritual leader who guides them on the path of God.
It is important that we get involved in something to make God's work easier for our leaders: the pastor, his ministerial team, and leaders that God has placed over us. Some wait to be put in leadership to take action or suggest ideas. Today we can take the initiative and contribute ideas or a special offering to improve a ministry of our interest. Maybe bring something useful to the temple like a pegboard for the kids, or chairs, or teaching aids. Some equipment or instrument that the church needs. That will make you feel part of your church and the Lord will bless you for that generous and attentive heart to improve the development of your congregation.
It is true that the offerings and tithes are used to cover the expenses and investments of the temple, but it is very special to be able to see a need and bring it yourself. We can even get our little kids involved and, when we go to the grocery store, buy a box of crayons or a bag of chips or juice, and tell them this is for their church and that they will contribute to their Sunday class to share with their little friends. Thus we teach them to be generous, we also instill in them to be careful with the things of the temple of God.
The apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 9:7: “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”
