Nurse Panel of Diabetes and Obesity Nurse Specialists

Listen Later

A panel of nurses specializing in helping patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes is the focus of this episode. In this episode of the Nursing Notes Live podcast, I got the chance to sit down and chat with Michelle MacDonna, CRNP, MSN, MPH, an occupational and environmental health nurse practitioner for Healthstat, Inc., in Raleigh-Durham, N.C. MacDonna is a 2015 alumna of the Duke-Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Program and completed a project on nutrition and obesity. Also joining us on the panel is Kathey Haynie, MSN, RN, National Association of School Nurses Board of Director and a past participant in the Rutgers University School Health Leadership Program from Johnson & Johnson.  Here’s that discussion.
