In this episode, my guest is Kailee Havlock, a nurse in Michigan and my former patient. From an early age, she’s dealt with a number of severe health issues, beginning with endometriosis, which continues to cause complications in her life today. We talk about her health problems, time as a nurse in the labor and delivery unit, complications of COVID in children, flaws in our healthcare system, nutrition, undisclosed medication side-effects, becoming disabled, depression, healing, and exercise.  

Kailee’s family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover some of her medical expenses. Her situation is a microcosm of the failure that our healthcare system has become. A mainstream medical professional has such rigged insurance and such inflated costs she has to ask for help.
