Justin Murray from VWMare and Jeff Weiss from NVIDIA. Justin and Jeff have worked closely together to bring a pre-packaged AI solution to the field, all natively integrated into VWmare. Guest Bios

Justin Murray: Justin works in technical marketing at VMware’s Cloud Infrastructure Business Group. In his work, he focuses on deploying machine learning applications on VMware vSphere. He works on the technical infrastructure considerations for designing and optimizing their machine learning setup in VMs for customers. This involves working with the major partners of VMware in this area, such as NVIDIA – and building technical proofs-of-concept with them on emerging technologies. Jeff Weiss: Jeff Weiss is a Sr. Director working on the Solution Architecture & Engineering team at NVIDIA. Prior to joining NVIDIA, Jeff has a pedigree that includes a 7 year stint at VMware as a EUC Staff Engineer, as well as time at Symantec and Sun Microsystems. Along with his current focus on MLOps AI GPU and vGPU enabled computing, his experience includes data center business continuity/disaster recovery solutions, software infrastructure identity management and email security/archiving tools. During his tenure, he has architected and sold complex business solutions into a wide array of both public and private accounts, from commercial to government, healthcare to education.

Roopa Prabhu: Roopa is an engineering leader and architect at NVIDIA. She and her team work on all things Linux kernel networking and Linux system infrastructure. Her primary focus areas in the Linux kernel are Linux bridge, Netlink, Routing, VxLAN, Lightweight tunnels and E-VPN data plane. She is involved in several Open networking communities – Linux kernel networking, Open Compute Foundation, netdevconf and the DENT project. Her past experience includes Linux clusters, High Performance Computing, Ethernet NIC drivers and Linux KVM virtualization platforms. She has a BS and MS in Computer Science. Rama Darbha: Rama is the Director of Solutions Architecture at NVIDIA. He and his team help drive adoption of modern networking solutions.
