Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with NYC-based Jazz Saxophonist & Leader Daniel Bennett on the 2024 CD Mr. Bennett’s Mind .. He has been hailed as one of the most original and unpredictable musical voices of his generation. The Daniel Bennett Group is celebrating the release of their 10th studio album described as a mix of Jazz, Folk and Minimalism. The album was recorded at the iconic Big Orange Sheep Studio in Brooklyn, New York and was produced by Grammy-nominated producer MP Kuo. He is joined by prolific pianist Jason Yeager, acclaimed electric bassist Kevin Hailey, and master percussionist Koko Bermejo on drums.
