Gun control is on the horizon now that the Dems control everything and they aren't wasting anytime now with the gun control.
HR8 aims to expend background checks federally for all sales of firearms even private sales/transfers.
HR1446 looks at extending the 3 day NICS check hold period to 10 days, and then an additional 10 days for a total of 20 days. The FBI will have 10 days to respond for a determination. If no determination is provided the PURCHASER will need to petition the government for a final determination by which the FBI has an additional 10 days to prove response. Only after a full 20 business days with no response can a FFL sell you the firearm with no response.
