Today's Sermon, “Chains Shall He Break," is from Luke 4:16-21, and is Week 4 in our Advent Sermon Series. There is a lot of conversation about the main point of Jesus’s ministry. Some like to say it was about ministry to the poor, others say it was all about forgiveness of and salvation from sins. Honestly, it was all of that. Jesus’s ministry was announcing the Kingdom of God that encompasses all of those things. Advent points us to prepare for the fullness of that Kingdom.
