Psalm 119 is a masterful, poetic hymn to God's Word. It is masterful because it was inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is poetic because the use of language is such that it can penetrate the heart. And it is a hymn in its beauty. The beauty of Psalm 119 is that it carries God's Word deeply into our hearts directly from the hand of God.

We will be looking into the fifth stanza starting in verse 33. The amazing thing about this fifth stanza is that each line starts out with an urgent call to God for action. When we consider the fact that God inspired this psalm it might cause us to consider just how important this psalm must be. It was written over 3,000 years ago and still has the power to transform our lives. In fact, this is the very reason we have Psalm 119. Enjoy.
