Welcome back to Cause Cashin’ with the bWolf — Oaklawn Park, Race 4 (3/15). I’m targeting value and trip: Closdatgate (#4) is my top pick at about 12-1 after shortening to a mile — a mid-pack stalker who can slowly creep up on the backstretch and salvo into the turn for a big payout.

My second choice is Donita (#6, ~3-1), dropping in class but needing to show up closer early to avoid relying on a lucky pace setup. Third is Kava (#8, ~5-2), who should get a clean outside stalking trip and press the leader turning for home.

Ticket plan: swing for the fences with Closdatgate and use Donita and Kava as solid supporting pieces. Watch how the race is run — if the creep starts before the turn, you’ll like the look. I’m bWolf — it’s howling time.
