Oasis Scholarship 2025 – Overview
The Oasis Scholarship 2025 is an initiative by the Government of West Bengal to support SC, ST, and OBC students in their educational journey from Class 9 to postgraduate and professional studies.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.

• For Pre-Matric (Class 9–10): SC/ST students with family income ≤ ₹2,00,000/year.

• For Post-Matric:

  • SC/ST: income ≤ ₹2,50,000/year

  • OBC: income ≤ ₹1,00,000/year

Scholarship Amount

• Pre-Matric (SC/ST): ₹150/month (day scholars), ₹750/month (hostellers) + annual ad-hoc grant.

• Post-Matric: ₹160–₹1,200/month depending on category and course.

Key Dates (Tentative)

• Applications open: July 2025

• Last date to apply: October 2025

• Document verification: November 2025

• Disbursement: From December 2025

How to Apply

1. Visit the official Oasis portal (oasis.gov.in).

2. Register under “Student’s Corner” and fill in the form.

3. Upload documents and submit online.

4. Print and submit a hard copy with documents to the District Welfare Office.

• Domicile & caste certificate

• Income proof

• Aadhaar card, mark sheets, bank details, and photo

Renew online annually. Track application status through the portal.
