Campus Minister, David Barnes, explores the question: "How do our words, promises, & commitments (oaths) matter in the Christian Life?" How does David explore this question? By looking at two ways that Jesus offers to help us: 1) Jesus unveils our hearts temptation toward falsehood & 2) Jesus unleashes his power to enable trustworthiness. The Good News is that Jesus (the Teacher) leads us to Jesus (the Savior) -- the One in whom provides the righteousness we need to live out the Kingdom call.
