The Talking Point is coming to you live from the Convention Centre at Emperors Palace, In Kempton Park, Johannesburg, this morning, where the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Commission is hosting its annual conference. The B-BBEE Commission is South Africa's B-BBEE regulator, established in 2016 to put an end to fronting. The Commission's conference will focus on ownership with emphasis on reported major BBBEE deals of R25 million and above. It will also share information on B-BBEE requirements and best practice. On the Talking Point this morning we will look at the work done by the Commission since its inception.
