OB: Global water security and the impact that water reuse can make

The international average water usage per day is 173 litres. Global water security is under threat as a result of climate change and increased demand for water in urban areas. There has been a shift towards a water-saving model where water reuse can be the key to create sustainable water supply. Water reuse reclaims water from a variety of sources. The water is treated and gets reused it for beneficial purposes. This includes agriculture and irrigation, potable water supplies, groundwater replenishment, industrial processes, and environmental restoration.

Our next guest works for the host organization at this conference. Their vision is to  ensure thay water is wisely managed to satisfy the needs of human activities and ecosystems in an equitable and sustainable way.
