For the day of the Lord is near upon all the nations. As you have done it, it shall be done to you; your deeds shall return on your own head (1:15).

We see significant lessons unfolding throughout history, nations who protect Israel & nations who persecute Christians. God is fulfilling a promise He made to Abraham (Gen 12:3). A great warning even to all Christians, to take care of the least of God's people & you will be blessed.
