President Obama announced a new directive on Friday, January 17th, 2014 where he outlined "changes" to the NSA's bulk metadata collection program authorized under section 215 of the Patriot Act.  While the mainstream media would have you believe that Obama ended the program, the massive dragnet will continue business as usual.
