“Love’s Footnotes” - John 13:1–17

Before the cross, there was a towel.

In one of the most powerful moments in Scripture, Jesus knelt down and washed His disciples’ feet. The King chose the position of a servant. Love wasn’t loud. It wasn’t dramatic. It was humble.

“Love’s Footnotes” reminds us that the truest expressions of love are often written in the small, unseen acts of service. It’s in the quiet obedience. The overlooked kindness. The willingness to lower ourselves for the good of others.

Love is not proven by status but by surrender.
Not by words alone, but by willingness.
