Leslie's Tips to Interpret Scripture:

1. Read and observe. Who are the characters? What setting was it in? etc. 

2. What does the scripture say? 

2. What does it mean? We have to look at this through the big lens of the entire book. The main purpose of the Bible is to share truth about God's redemption for His people.
