1 Samuel 15 tells us the Lord delights in obedience more than sacrifice. Sometimes we try to use our works to bring us favor when all the Lord is asking for is obedience. It’s obedience that opens doors and with that same thought in mind, it’s disobedience that can keep them closed. The Lord is looking for a remnant with His commands written on their heart.
