He references 1 John 5:3-4 to assure us that whatever is born of God overcomes the world, and our faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Therefore, when we stand in this grace given by God, we begin to walk in the Spirit, and as a result, we do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. He explains that the lust of the flesh is a mindset that opposes God's word.

Furthermore, he clarifies that God's word is spirit, and when we live according to His precepts, we start to walk in the Spirit. He makes us realize that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. He then reveals that we are at a turning point and urges us to prepare for what lies ahead.
