Münsters Oberbürgermeister Markus Lewe wurde nur wenige hundert Meter entfernt vom Theodor-Kiefer-Platz, an dem unsere UFERGESPRÄCHE stattfinden, geboren. Er hat in Münster studiert und kennt die Stadt wie seine Westentasche. Im Interview am Ufer des Aasees berichtet er von seiner Jugend- und Studienzeit, seinem Weg bis zum Amt des Oberbürgermeisters und Präsidenten des Deutschen Städtetags und warum er mal in der Fußgängerzone Schuhe geputzt hat.
