The prevalence of obesity started in the 1980s when low calorie, high sugar products flooded supermarket shelves. Is sugar one of the culprits?
What is not in our diet is more important than what is. What if tempting fast and processed foods were fortified with ‘protective’ chemicals that shield us from harmful effects like weight gain and insulin resistance?
