If someone was willing to pay a debt that you were unwilling to pay, would they have a right to your love? Or some sort of reciprocal action?
Many when they see the offer of eternal life as offered from the cross respond in one of two ways. They either take that gift and assume they are not obligated to return such love in repentance or they refuse that gift not wanting to be in debt to a God that loved them so much that he gave His only Son.
