Obsession can be dangerous and you have to be careful how you invest your emotions into people especially when you have just met them. They may not share the same feelings and could hurt you which can lead your mind to go to places it never thought it could do or make you do things that can be considered as out of character. Guard your mind and put a limit on your obsession so it can never cross the line and get you in trouble.
