Dr. Barton is an Obstetrician Gynecologist at Premier OB/GYN located in Bradenton Florida. She graduated from Florida A&M University (Tallahassee, Florida) and attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (Bradenton, Florida). After medical school, she completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton Michigan, where she served as chief OB/GYN resident.
Dr. Barton specializes in all aspects of women's health, and has a passion for serving the under-served populations. She specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology including prenatal care, gynecology surgery, minimally invasive surgery, colposcopy, well woman care and contraceptive counseling. She enjoys caring for women through all aspects of their lives, from puberty through menopause and understands that each stage of a woman's life entails different challenges. She focuses on patient centered and patient focused care and encourages each woman to advocate for her health and health care concerns. She has built her practice on the fundamental belief that the relationship between a doctor and patient contributes significantly to the quality of care delivered and received.
