Ocean City Beaches Surf Report for 03-24-2025

Listen Later

Beach lovers and wave chasers, listen up! The National Weather Service just dropped the final beach forecast of the season, and it's looking like a stellar weekend to catch some late-summer rays.

Saturday is serving up some serious beach vibes with sunny skies and temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 70s across the Mid-Atlantic coastline. We're talking picture-perfect beach weather with a moderate rip current risk, so swimmers and surfers need to stay alert. Expect surf heights around 2 to 3 feet - perfect for casual boarders and water enthusiasts.

The winds will be cruising in from the west at around 10 to 15 mph, keeping things comfortably cool. Water temperatures are hovering in the upper 60s, so you might want that light wetsuit, but it's still totally swimmable.

Sunday brings similar conditions with a slight shift - winds will pick up from the southwest, potentially hitting 20 mph by afternoon. The rip current risk drops to low, but always respect the ocean's power.

Columbus Day looks promising with surf heights potentially reaching 2 to 5 feet and plenty of sunshine. But watch out - things cool down quick after that. By Tuesday, temperatures will nosedive into the upper 50s with northwest winds making things crisp.

This is the final beach forecast until mid-May 2025, so soak up these last golden moments of coastal magic. Remember beach warriors - check local conditions, respect the water, and make every wave count!

Stay stoked and stay safe!
