Listen Later

Surf's up, beach lovers! Get ready for a sun-soaked weekend of coastal adventure along the Mid-Atlantic shores. Our final beach forecast of the season is bringing some seriously sweet conditions.

Saturday's looking like a perfect beach day with sunny skies and temperatures climbing into the mid-70s. Surfers and swimmers should be aware of a moderate rip current risk, so keep your wits about you out there. Waves are rolling in at a smooth 2 to 3 feet, ideal for catching some rides or just enjoying the ocean's rhythm.

Water temperatures are hovering in the upper 60s, still warm enough for a refreshing dip. Pack your sunscreen because that UV index is sitting at moderate - you'll want to protect that beautiful skin. Winds will be cruising in from the west around 10 miles per hour, creating those picture-perfect beach conditions.

Sunday brings more of that gorgeous sunshine with a slight wind shift to the southwest. Expect similar temperatures and wave heights, but with winds potentially picking up to 15-20 miles per hour by afternoon. The rip current risk will ease up, giving water enthusiasts a bit more breathing room.

Columbus Day is looking like another stunner with surf heights potentially reaching 2 to 5 feet and temperatures in the lower 70s. As we transition into Tuesday and Wednesday, things cool down dramatically with highs dropping into the upper 50s and northwest winds bringing a crisp autumn feel.

Pro tip from the weather team: when surf heights exceed 4 feet, breaking waves can get seriously dangerous. Stay alert, respect the ocean, and know your limits.

This is our final beach forecast until mid-May 2025, so make these last beach days count! Catch those waves, soak up the sun, and create some epic end-of-season memories.
