Surf's up, beach lovers! Get ready for a weekend of sun, sand, and some seriously sweet swells along the Mid-Atlantic coast. Our last beach forecast of the season is bringing some prime coastal conditions that you won't want to miss!

Saturday's looking like a stunner with sunny skies and temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 70s. Surfers and beach bums, take note: we've got a moderate rip current risk in play, so keep those safety skills sharp. Waves are dancing between 2 to 3 feet - perfect for intermediate riders and beach loungers alike.

Water temperatures are hovering in the upper 60s, so you might want that thin wetsuit. West winds around 10 to 15 mph will keep things interesting, creating some nice chop for wave enthusiasts. The UV index is moderate, so don't forget your sunscreen!

Tide schedules are looking primo. Ocean City's looking at a low around 9:13 AM and a high at 3:46 PM. Virginia Beach and Chincoteague have similar rhythms, so plan your beach day accordingly.

Sunday brings similar vibes but with a bit more wind punch. Southwest winds will ramp up to 15-20 mph by afternoon, potentially creating some more challenging surf conditions. Rip current risk starts to ease, but always stay alert.

Columbus Day extends the beach party with 2 to 5 foot surf and sunny skies. Tuesday and Wednesday cool things down with temperatures dropping into the upper 50s and northwest winds keeping things crisp.

Pro tip: Surf heights over 4 feet can mean dangerous breaking waves, so know your limits and respect the ocean.

This is our final beach forecast until mid-May 2025, so make these last autumn beach days count! Catch those waves, soak up the sun, and stay safe out there, coastal crew!
