Surf Report - Ocean City MD Beaches

Ocean City Beaches Surf Report for 04-11-2025

Listen Later

Hey beach lovers! As we wrap up the 2024 beach season, Mother Nature's serving up some seriously sweet weekend vibes along the Mid-Atlantic coast.

Surfers and sun seekers, listen up! We're looking at a moderate rip current risk through Saturday evening, so keep those safety skills sharp. Expect waves dancing between 2 to 3 feet with plenty of sunshine warming things up to the mid to upper 70s.

Ocean temps are hovering in the upper 60s, perfect for a quick dip or catching some waves. West winds around 10 to 15 mph will keep things breezy and comfortable. Pro tip: water temperatures this cool mean you might want a light wetsuit if you're planning extended water time.

Tides are looking pretty standard across the region. Ocean City, Virginia Beach, and Duck all have low tides in the morning around 9 AM, with high tides rolling in mid-afternoon. Weekend warriors can plan beach activities around these natural rhythms.

Sunday brings similar conditions but with a slight wind shift to southwest, potentially picking up to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Rip current risk drops to low, but always stay alert near structures like piers and jetties.

Looking ahead to Columbus Day, expect slightly larger 2 to 5 foot surf with west winds around 20 mph. Tuesday and Wednesday cool down dramatically, with highs dropping into the upper 50s and northwest winds making things crisp.

Remember, this is the final beach forecast until mid-May 2025, so soak up these last golden moments of coastal paradise. Stay safe, have fun, and catch those waves!
