As founder of Ocean State of Mind, I like to spend as much time by the ocean as possible and the shortest amount of time in front of a computer. The mission of our organization is to reignite a profound reconnection to the ocean in this planetary moment and we know our disconnection to nature is a leading cause of climate change and the unrelenting stress causing health and wellness challenges around the world. So we used AI to help create a way to share our work, invite people to our Ocean Hours and learn about what we do. In some ways, using AI feels like it is 'going against brand'. In this instance, we're hoping it helps us and you get back to the water. When we heard this AI podcast come up with a joke making fun of Damian's coaching ("so does he read our astrology and tell us what kind of kelp to eat?!" which is legit funny) we figured we could let this one slide.
