Sermon from this morning

If you ever thought you had to be happy and all together to be a person of faith...you haven't met the Prophet Jeremiah (the Weeping Prophet). Jeremiah is called by God to speak a word in a difficult time and place and though he did trust God to be with him, he also goes through a lot of personal stuff. Jeremiah is not afraid or ashamed to speak to the heights of his delight and the depths of his despair. As we come to the Table we, too, bring both our faithfulness and our Brokenness. Be you and give it all to God who loves you and welcomes you.
