Series: Skepticism, Doubt, Uncertainty, Divine Hiddenness - FAITH on the EDGE
Title: The Nature of Faith (and why we don't like it) Part 2
Our series is called Faith on the Edge, and we are exploring skepticism, doubt, uncertainty, and divine hiddenness. Last week, we ended by asking, “What if God is about deepening the mystery, not removing it?” Moses once asked for God’s name, and God answered the question, but in a way that conveyed mystery, wonder, and awe. God both reveals and conceals. Meister Eckhart famously prayed, “God rid me of God.” What did he mean by this? Plan to be with us as we try to leave aside the need for clarity and instead just experience being known by God. Our study this week is: The Nature of Faith (and why we don’t like it)—Part 2
