Today we’re celebrating American soldier and 34th President of the United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Referred to as “Ike,” he was a five-star general whose heroic measures during WWII made him a national hero, eventually leading him to the only political office he ever held; the President. Happy birthday, Ike!
