October 2 - When it Floods Like a Hurricane BUT Is Not a Hurricane

This stalled low reached out into the Atlantic ocean, in it’s counter clockwise Low Pressure spin, and inadvertently tapped into moisture from the nearby Hurricane Joaquin. This brought heavy, continuous rain to southeastern States, with the worst effects concentrated in South Carolina where the catastrophic flooding occurred.
