We are in our series called Faith on the Edge, and last week we explored how God both reveals and conceals. Faith and mystery go hand in hand. This week we want to go further with understanding faith and ask some hard questions. Is it possible to follow God and not have our lives all tied up with a pretty red bow? How many people are disappointed with God because He hasn’t come through for them in the way they think He should? Will you and I follow God even when it hurts? Unfortunately, American Christianity is no longer a summons to the unpredictable life of faith but more of an invitation into the security and predictability of religion.
