Wanderers or Worshipers Sermon Series - The children of Israel continue to make their way towards the promise land. They don't know how long it will take and certainly the ambiguity of the journey leads to more frustration and confusion. In Numbers 20 we find them headed into the Wilderness of Zin, where they stayed at Kadesh. As usual, they begin complaining about the lack of water for them and their animals. Moses and Aaron seek the face of the Lord and He gives them a solution. When God gives us an answer, we can guarantee it's the right way! However in our weakness we try to do things our own way. When we do this, we will always have to deal with the "Consequences of Compromise"!
