"Zaccheus’ life is changed because when Jesus sees him he sees someone who is a fellow ‘Son of Abraham’, a child who is lost and needs a shepherd, someone to guide him back to where he is welcomed as part of the family, where he can be himself, where he is seen for who he is, where being real and authentic is all that matters, not what you’ve done or what you haven’t done. Jesus welcomes him Home."
