The point Jesus is making with his disciples and us, is that we have

already been given all the faith we need. By trusting in God’s love for us

in Jesus we have all the resources of God. Now that doesn’t necessarily

mean we will get everything we want, but maybe Jesus is trying to help us

see that if we have God and each other, all the rest will take care of

itself, one mustard seed at a time.
