The octopus was a Graneledone boreopacifica, a species of octopus that we know very little about. But the scientists were not there for her, after making a note of what they saw they moved onto business. The team went back a month later and found the same octopus on a rock sitting on 160 eggs.


The human eye is a complex organ. Scientists have enough theoretical evidence to suggest the first eye-like structure was a light-sensitive pigmented spot on the skin. Through natural selection, this first eye has gone through changes to form the human eye we know today.


NASA is looking for participants to spend eight months together inside a spaceflight simulator at the Russian Institute for Biomedical Problems in Moscow.
