Octubre 30: Una Canción de la Boda Celestial.
Salmos 45:1-17 RVA2015:
Mi corazón rebosa de palabras buenas; dedico al rey mi canto. Mi lengua es como pluma de un veloz escriba. Tú eres el más hermoso de los hijos del hombre; la gracia se ha derramado en tus labios. Por eso Dios te ha bendecido para siempre. Ciñe tu espada sobre tu muslo, oh valiente, en tu gloria y majestad. En tu majestad cabalga y triunfa por causa de la verdad, de la humildad y de la justicia. Tu mano derecha te mostrará cosas asombrosas. Pueblos caerán debajo de ti; tus flechas agudas penetrarán en el corazón de los enemigos del rey. Tu trono, oh Dios, es eterno y para siempre; cetro de justicia es el cetro de tu reino. Has amado la justicia y aborrecido la injusticia; por eso te ha ungido Dios, el Dios tuyo, con aceite de gozo, más que a tus compañeros. Mirra, áloe y casia exhalan todas tus vestiduras; en palacios de marfil te han recreado los instrumentos de cuerda. Hijas de reyes hay en tu corte de honor; la reina está de pie a tu derecha con oro de Ofir. Oye, hija, y mira; inclina tu oído: Olvida tu pueblo y la casa de tu padre. El rey desea tu hermosura; inclínate hacia él porque él es tu señor. Las hijas de Tiro vienen con presentes, y los ricos del pueblo imploran tu favor. Toda gloriosa está la hija del rey; de perlas engastadas en oro es su vestido. Con vestido bordado será llevada ante el rey. Vírgenes irán detrás de ella; sus compañeras serán traídas a ti. Serán traídas con alegría y con gozo, y entrarán en el palacio del rey. En lugar de tus padres estarán tus hijos a quienes harás príncipes en toda la tierra. Haré perpetua la memoria de tu nombre en todas las generaciones, por lo cual te alabarán los pueblos eternamente y para siempre.
Este es un salmo especial por dos razones: una porque es una poesía muy apreciada en el pueblo de Israel porque es la canción de bodas cuando el Rey de Israel contrae nupcias matrimoniales. Es una canción de amor cuando el Rey se une a Su amada.
La otra razón es porque este es un salmo considerado mesiánico. De acuerdo a muchos teólogos e intérpretes de la Palabra y según la tradición de los judíos, este es un salmo referente al Mesías.
Una de las condiciones para que un salmo sea denominado mesianico es cuando es usado como referencia por los apóstoles en el Nuevo Testamento. En el libro de Hebreos el escritor hace una referencia en el capítulo 1, en los versos 8 y 9 confirmando que Jesucristo es el mismo Rey descrito en este salmo.
¡Nosotros, los cristianos que hemos aceptado a Jesús como Salvador y lo reconocemos como el Mesías prometido, nos deleitamos al leer este salmo por todas las referencias que hace acerca del momento que el Rey de reyes se casa con la escogida, que en este caso representa a la iglesia!
Qué hermoso es usar nuestra imaginación y pensar cómo será ese momento cuando nos encontremos en la presencia del Señor. Los que sufrieron maltratos verbales, menosprecios en medio de la sociedad hasta momentos de violencia e injusticia, encarcelamientos y torturas; ellos estarán ahí delante de la presencia del Señor, todos los que fueron despreciados por causa del nombre de Jesús. Los que valientemente dieron testimonio del Señor en su escuela, en sus lugares de trabajo, los que sirvieron al Señor en sus congregaciones, los que no se contaminaron con las inmundicias de este mundo, los que sacrificaron posiciones por causa de agradar a Dios. También estarán aquellos mártires que fueron despedazados por las fieras, expuestos como objetos de diversión en el coliseo romano, junto con los que fueron torturados y asesinados por la llamada santa inquisición, simplemente porque los mártires servían a Jesucristo.
Las bodas del Cordero representa el momento cuando multitudes serán consoladas por causa de años de sufrimiento solo por el hecho de haber confesado a Jesucristo como su Salvador. También representa el momento cuando muchos recibirán las recompensas por su valente y ardua labor, representando a Jesucristo con sus testimonios, poniendo por obra los ministerios que desarrollaron para extender el mensaje del Señor en las naciones y ejercitando esos dones dados por Dios cuando fuimos llenos de Su Espíritu Santo.
Te invito para que escuches o leas el devocional del 13 de septiembre cuando estudiamos el capítulo 19 de Apocalipsis donde el apóstol Juan describe la visión que vio de ese evento grandioso y escuches el consejo para que estés preparado para aquel día.

Psalms 45:1-17:
My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever. Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, with Your glory and Your majesty. And in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness; and Your right hand shall teach You awesome things. Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King’s enemies; the peoples fall under You.
Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions. All Your garments are scented with myrrh and aloes and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You glad. Kings’ daughters are among Your honorable women; at Your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.
Listen, O daughter, consider and incline your ear; forget your own people also, and your father’s house; so the King will greatly desire your beauty; because He is your Lord, worship Him. And the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; the rich among the people will seek your favor. The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace; her clothing is woven with gold. She shall be brought to the King in robes of many colors; the virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to You. With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought; they shall enter the King’s palace. Instead of Your fathers shall be Your sons, whom You shall make princes in all the earth. I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore the people shall praise You forever and ever.
This is a special psalm for two reasons: one because it is a very appreciated poetry in the people of Israel because it is the wedding song when the King of Israel gets married. It is a love song when the King joins His beloved.
The other reason is because this is a psalm considered messianic. According to many theologians and interpreters of the Word and according to the tradition of the Jews, this is a psalm referring to the Messiah.
One of the conditions for a psalm to be called Messiah is when it is used as a reference by the apostles in the New Testament. In the book of Hebrews the writer makes a reference in chapter 1, in verses 8 and 9 confirming that Jesus Christ is the same King described in this psalm.
We, the Christians who have accepted Jesus as Savior and recognize Him as the promised Messiah, delight in reading this psalm for all the references it makes about the moment when the King of kings marries the chosen one, which in this case represents the church!
How beautiful it is to use our imagination and think about what that moment will be like when we find ourselves in the presence of the Lord. In the book of Revelation we find several references to that moment called the marriage of the Lamb, when Jesus presents before the heavenly beings the group of people who remained faithful to the Lord throughout the time they lived on earth, surviving and enduring all kinds of trials and struggles. Those who suffered verbal abuse, contempt in the midst of society up to moments of violence and injustice, imprisonment and torture; they will be there in the presence of the Lord, all those who were despised because of the name of Jesus. Those who bravely gave testimony of the Lord in their school, in their workplaces, those who served the Lord in their congregations, those who did not defile themselves with the filth of this world, those who sacrificed positions for the sake of pleasing God. There will also be those martyrs who were torn to pieces by wild beasts, exhibited as amusement objects in the Roman Coliseum, along with those who were tortured and killed by the so-called Holy Inquisition, simply because the martyrs served Jesus Christ.
The marriage of the Lamb represents the time when multitudes will be comforted by years of suffering just because they have confessed Jesus Christ as their Savior. It also represents the moment when many will receive the rewards for their courage and hard work, representing Jesus Christ with their testimonies, putting into action the ministries they developed to spread the Lord's message in the nations and exercising those gifts given by God when we were filled with His Holy Spirit.
I invite you to listen or read the devotional of September 13 when we studied Revelation, chapter 19 where the apostle John describes the vision he saw of that great event and listen to the advice so that you are prepared for that day.

I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore the people shall praise You forever and ever.
This is a special psalm for two reasons: one because it is a very appreciated poetry in the people of Israel because it is the wedding song when the King of Israel gets married. It is a love song when the King joins His beloved.
The other reason is because this is a psalm considered messianic. According to many theologians and interpreters of the Word and according to the tradition of the Jews, this is a psalm referring to the Messiah.
One of the conditions for a psalm to be called Messiah is when it is used as a reference by the apostles in the New Testament. In the book of Hebrews the writer makes a reference in chapter 1, in verses 8 and 9 confirming that Jesus Christ is the same King described in this psalm.
We, the Christians who have accepted Jesus as Savior and recognize Him as the promised Messiah, delight in reading this psalm for all the references it makes about the moment when the King of kings marries the chosen one, which in this case represents the church!
How beautiful it is to use our imagination and think about what that moment will be like when we find ourselves in the presence of the Lord. In the book of Revelation we find several references to that moment called the marriage of the Lamb, when Jesus presents before the heavenly beings the group of people who remained faithful to the Lord throughout the time they lived on earth, surviving and enduring all kinds of trials and struggles. Those who suffered verbal abuse, contempt in the midst of society up to moments of violence and injustice, imprisonment and torture; they will be there in the presence of the Lord, all those who were despised because of the name of Jesus. Those who bravely gave testimony of the Lord in their school, in their workplaces, those who served the Lord in their congregations, those who did not defile themselves with the filth of this world, those who sacrificed positions for the sake of pleasing God. There will also be those martyrs who were torn to pieces by wild beasts, exhibited as amusement objects in the Roman Coliseum, along with those who were tortured and killed by the so-called Holy Inquisition, simply because the martyrs served Jesus Christ.
The marriage of the Lamb represents the time when multitudes will be comforted by years of suffering just because they have confessed Jesus Christ as their Savior. It also represents the moment when many will receive the rewards for their courage and hard work, representing Jesus Christ with their testimonies, putting into action the ministries they developed to spread the Lord's message in the nations and exercising those gifts given by God when we were filled with His Holy Spirit.
I invite you to listen or read the devotional of September 13 when we studied Revelation, chapter 19 where the apostle John describes the vision he saw of that great event and listen to the advice so that you are prepared for that day.

Este es un salmo especial por dos razones: una porque es una poesía muy apreciada en el pueblo de Israel porque es la canción de bodas cuando el Rey de Israel contrae nupcias matrimoniales. Es una canción de amor cuando el Rey se une a Su amada.
La otra razón es porque este es un salmo considerado mesiánico. De acuerdo a muchos teólogos e intérpretes de la Palabra y según la tradición de los judíos, este es un salmo referente al Mesías.
Una de las condiciones para que un salmo sea denominado mesianico es cuando es usado como referencia por los apóstoles en el Nuevo Testamento. En el libro de Hebreos el escritor hace una referencia en el capítulo 1, en los versos 8 y 9 confirmando que Jesucristo es el mismo Rey descrito en este salmo.
¡Nosotros, los cristianos que hemos aceptado a Jesús como Salvador y lo reconocemos como el Mesías prometido, nos deleitamos al leer este salmo por todas las referencias que hace acerca del momento que el Rey de reyes se casa con la escogida, que en este caso representa a la iglesia!
Qué hermoso es usar nuestra imaginación y pensar cómo será ese momento cuando nos encontremos en la presencia del Señor. En el libro de Apocalipsis encontramos varias referencias de aquel momento denominado las bodas del Cordero, cuando Jesús presenta ante los seres celestiales al grupo de personas que permanecieron fieles al Señor en todo el tiempo que vivieron sobre la tierra, sobreviviendo y soportando toda clase de pruebas y luchas. Los que sufrieron maltratos verbales, menosprecios en medio de la sociedad hasta momentos de violencia e injusticia, encarcelamientos y torturas; ellos estarán ahí delante de la presencia del Señor, todos los que fueron despreciados por causa del nombre de Jesús. Los que valientemente dieron testimonio del Señor en su escuela, en sus lugares de trabajo, los que sirvieron al Señor en sus congregaciones, los que no se contaminaron con las inmundicias de este mundo, los que sacrificaron posiciones por causa de agradar a Dios. También estarán aquellos mártires que fueron despedazados por las fieras, expuestos como objetos de diversión en el coliseo romano, junto con los que fueron torturados y asesinados por la llamada santa inquisición, simplemente porque los mártires servían a Jesucristo.
Las bodas del Cordero representa el momento cuando multitudes serán consoladas por causa de años de sufrimiento solo por el hecho de haber confesado a Jesucristo como su Salvador. También representa el momento cuando muchos recibirán las recompensas por su valente y ardua labor, representando a Jesucristo con sus testimonios, poniendo por obra los ministerios que desarrollaron para extender el mensaje del Señor en las naciones y ejercitando esos dones dados por Dios cuando fuimos llenos de Su Espíritu Santo.
Te invito para que escuches o leas el devocional del 13 de septiembre cuando estudiamos el capítulo 19 de Apocalipsis donde el apóstol Juan describe la visión que vio de ese evento grandioso y escuches el consejo para que estés preparado para aquel día.

My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
