Guest Mike Perry joined the Grunts this week and he brought the goodies.  West Virginia black bear that he harvested and had made into sausage with some local hot sauces.  

Mike runs a program during the holiday season called  the Turkey Bowl that raises money for veterans in need and also collects items for veterans in need throughout the year.  

The hot sauces were delicious and we all partook in the heat, John can't handle heat so check out the video on our Facebook page Grunts in Appalachia.

On Appalachian Ales and Tales we ate the bear meat with hot sauces and enjoyed every second of it as well as discussing the each flavor of this local goodie.
