On this most auspicious day, the birthday of our own game master, the heroes face certain death.  Sydon, the Lord of Storms has demanded the sacrifice of Princess Anora, the only surviving heir to the throne of Estoria.  However, his envoy, Gaius, has decreed that the princess’s life may be spared, on the condition that all five of our heroes take her place on the Rock of Estor.  If the heroes perish, Thylea itself is sure to follow, but if they aid in the death of Pythor’s only living daughter, the city of Estoria may succumb to the unimpressive leadership of the God of Battle and the heroes will certainly lose some clout in the frontier city they currently call home.

Ariel wins a staring contest with a big lizard.

Eto finally uses his Charm of Heroism.

Nausicaa meets an ironic fate.

It's hard to believe that the heroes have already managed to get called for sacrifice to the vengeful titans.  Hopefully their gambit paid off and the sacrifice will leave them with their lives.  A sacrifice of this magnitude is sure to draw more attention than the eyes of hungry gods and spiteful cultists, and who knows how the crowds of Estoria will respond to their new heroes being chained to the Rock of Estor for tribute to the Lord of Storms...

The 500 year Oath of Peace is coming to an end and the Titans’ jealous rage has only ripened over time.  Five heroes have been summoned by the Oracle, who prophesied that they are the only hope of refuge from the death of the gods, the destruction of the sacred tree, and the total annihilation of all mortal races.  Join our heroes (and their players):

Ariel (Venus), a naively entitled nymph with a pension for persuasion

Eto (Billy), a hard-ass Aresian soldier who believes that discipline and pride are cardinal virtues

Nausicaa (Violet), a strangely social medusa who can kill a yak from 200 yards away with her trusty bow

Nehmet (Sojak), a man out of time, slowly clearing a 500 year fog from his mind as he composes the greatest epic poem Thylea will ever know

Ylva (Jacob), a stranger in a strange land whose bone-and-hide armor is almost as threatening as her fiery magics

as they are guided through the world of Thylea by their Dungeon Master (Sam).  Many dangers exist in Thylea, especially for one so bold as to take up adventuring, but if The Chosen of Versi fail in their quest, the future of Thylea is certain to be a grim one.
