Whether it is something triumphant or something tragic, a mere moment can be absolutely pivotal! For example; like when the Warriors faced off against the Cavaliers for this year’s NBA title.

It took seven games to decide the season. But it wasn’t until the last minute that we got an inkling of who might actually win. Yes, up until the final seconds, it was close enough to be anybody’s game. But today, the city of Cleveland, after 52 years, gets its first ever NBA Championship.

This tells me that though preparation and process are extremely important, so often all the difference is somehow made in a moment! And that’s why I’ll air these brief clips between my weekly EPIC Comeback podcast. Their purpose is to help keep us mindful that there is no moment in time when we can afford to get too comfortable.

You see, 2 Corinthians 10:3 says that though we walk in the flesh, we don’t war after the flesh. Yes, ours is a spiritual warfare, and spirits don’t get tired! Our unseen enemies are always at work trying to knock us off course. So don’t let a moment be the measure of what should be your EPIC!
