Going from celebrations, we talk about the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie and Demon Slayer's impact in modern pop culture and how far have anime movies have come. Next, we go on a nostalgia trip and talk about how hard it was to watch anime's back in the day with "illegal websites" and 4 part Youtube videos, as well as talking about anime merch and how easy it is to find cool streetwear that's anime themed. We'll be talking about how the "old school" reacts to the "new school" and how watching anime is so much easier and accessible in the modern era!

On a very special episode of the Of Geeks and Goddesses podcast, we take a trip down memory lane and talk about the life and legacy of Daft Punk. The duo have been around for almost 30 years and have changed the way we listen to EDM and music in general. They've released 4 studio albums, 2 live albums, remix albums, 3 feature films, made the soundtrack for "Tron: Legacy" and collaborated with so many artists throughout their career. Throughout this episode, we'll be talking about how they started, their career through the years as well as looking into how their albums have changed not only sound but production and how they chose to promote it. We'll also be talking about the iconic robot heads we know today, their origins and how in every new era the duo enters, it changes in not only style but in the technological aspect as well.

February, the month of love BUT it's also the month of us talking about how much we love Steven Universe! Our host Fran invites her close personal friend Ari to the show to talk about everything and anything Steven Universe! Ari recently had the chance to finish the series during the 2020 quarantine and has been obsessed ever since! They'll be talking about how they first started watching it, which characters they relate to the most, the songs that have made them shed a few tears, as well as talk about the episodes that mean so much to them! They'll also be talking about the LGBTQ+ representation that the show has given throughout its run on Cartoon Network as well as how they have addressed mental health in the later seasons of the series as well as the made for TV movie. As always, SPOILERS AHEAD if you haven't watched or finished the series! It's our longest episode of the podcast so far but it's about a series that we love so much and we hope you enjoy!

Let's get excited for 2021! Our host Fran kicks off the first episode of 2021 with our first guest, Ruben!
