About Of Spice and Men
From the publisher's feed
A northerner, a public school boy and a tree surgeon walk into a bar…well an Indian restaurant….every month. Of the 50,000 or so meals of delicious Indian cuisine consumed around the UK during this…
period Stew, Tom and Adz account for three of them. They use the ritual of chatting over our national dish to help them navigate the perils of midlife, offering each other friendship, counsel, fun and a sprinkling of conflict to spice things up along the way. Conspicuous in their white middle aged maleness they‘re not convinced their ramblings is what the world needs right now. There is however something engaging about their enduring friendship and emotional openness. With a recovery, a nervous breakdown and a gambling habit as feathers in their caps, they’re now cracking on with the easy bit of settling down and raising families. This poignant and entertaining podcast is produced by Philippa Geering and Sonderbug Productions.
