Off-Script Dialogue

Russell shares some top tips on how to encourage your broadcasters to develop their handover conversational skills. Russell calls this Off Script and it's a couple of lines that don't get written down. In fact they're not allowed to write this down and have to make it up. Usually it's a comment about the previous item or just a warm and generous welcome to what's coming up in their report.

The important aspect is that this dialogue isn't written down! I can be rehearsed of course!
