Season two kicks off with the homies locked in on Money in the Bank (2011) the second installment of the annual Money in the Bank PPV series. It took place on July 17, 2011, at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois.

The event is jam packed with six matches, including two Money in the Bank ladder matches. The Raw brand MITB ladder match to earn a WWE Championship match, and the SmackDown brand MITB Ladder match to earn a World Heavyweight Championship match. The World Heavyweight Championship match featured, Christian verses Randy Orton. The main event featured CM Punk verses John Cena for the WWE Championship.
