To receive an offense is an event, but to be offended is a choice. Satan’s

strategy is to divide and his tactic is to bring offenses. He does this in

marriages, churches, and in our relationship with God. Everyone will

receive offenses in life, but to hold on to the offense to the point of

being offended is a decision we make. Christians do not have a right to be

offended. God forgives us and He expects us to forgive others of every

offense. If a Christian receives an offense and chooses to be offended,

then holds onto the offense, then they will progress downward in their
