As business owners brace themselves for employees returning to work or formalizing a permanent hybrid environment in 2022, businesses could be finding themselves in a holding pattern over the next couple of months. In the U.S., Google recently announced that it won’t be requiring its employees to return to the office as planned and will hold off past the new year to reassess when its employees can return to a “stable, long-term working environment.”
