In the hills outside the city of Salinas, California, sits a race course nestled in a piece of ground surrounded by a Nature Preserve. During the last week of September 2015, Porsche threw it’s gargantuan fifth get together here. About 1400 Porsche cars of all shapes and sizes gathered in one spot. This short cinematic piece is a visual observation of the people, machines and sounds captured on a Saturday morning, as tens of thousands of Porsche fans gathered to attend this massive Porsche reunion.

RACE SCENES. 2015 TROFEO ABARTH SELENIA EUROPE. Finnish racer Pajuranta comes in first overall at the SPA FRANCORCHAMPS CIRCUIT during the 2015 Trofeo Abarth Selenia Europe. RACE SCENES. PORSCHE 919 HYBRID AND 911 RSR AT NURBURGRING. 2015 WEC. The Porsche 919 Hybrid and the 911 RSR teams finish with 1-2 victories at the Round 4 of the 2015 Sports Car World Endurance Championship at the Nurburgring.

For the 2015 Le Mans 24Hr race, two Porsche teams took overall wins. Earl Bamber (NZ), Nico Hülkenberg (GER) and Nick Tandy (GBR) took the 17th overall victory.  Followed by the sister car of Timo Bernhard (GER), Brendon Hartley (NZ) and Mark Webber (AUS). This made it the fourth one-two result for the brand after achieving this in 1971, 1983, 1987 and 1998.

Once built, Gavin and his Dutchmann team takes these DUTCHMANN Edition Weekend Racer Porsches to various African desert and hill climb races. Here in the opening episode, Gavin Rooke and his Dutchmann Porsche team, makes its way from Cape Town to Knysna.

The Bentley team takes the monstrously fast endurance racing machine, the BENTLEY Continental GT3 to the tracks for a test run and fine tuning. AFRICAN RACER. PART 3.
